Telepractice
Telepractice, or teletherapy, is a research supported service delivery model for qualifying clients. Consultation, screening, assessment and treatment sessions take place via secure webcam internet connection much like online classes offered by educational institutions and business videoconferencing. Services provided via teletherapy are possible for many clients but the goal is to provide the same quality session as if in person so that the outcome, or client growth, remains the same. While it is not an option for some, many clients actually attend better and make faster progress during teletherapy sessions.
Client benefits include convenience of flexible scheduling and no down time for traveling to your appointment. Ideal for clients that work, lack transportation, home schooled students, private schools, charter schools and many types of support groups. Fitting your session into your busy schedule has never been easier!
